AWANA is held on Wednesday nights beginning at 6:00 pm with a dinner that is prepared by church volunteers. AWANA clubs meet at 6:30, end at 8:00 and are divided into 4 age groups:
- Puggles (babies through 2-year-olds)
Puggles learn simple lessons through teaching cards, activities, music and more. Leaders and parents work together to teach foundational truths about God, such as We are a unique creation of God, and God loves us very much! Puggles are excited to attend church and enter AWANA like their older siblings and friends.
- Cubbies (3-year-olds to Kindergarten)
Cubbies is fun with a purpose to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards, and other activities are part of exciting weekly lessons.
*Cubbies must be 3 years old and be potty trained.
- Sparks (1st and - 2nd Grade)
Sparks combines learning with fun to create an atmosphere of excitement that takes kids deeper in to God's Word while giving boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the Gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.
- Truth & Training (3rd - 6th Grade)
The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach kids the truth of God's Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today's young people will become tomorrow's church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow ... today.
AWANA appeals to children of all ages because of its exciting games, awards system and special events. Learn more about Awana by checking out the National Awana Website.
